*UAE is 2nd market by volume for Cristal champagne (they do anonymous home delivery of unbranded!!! bottles with Cristal inside and later collect the bottles so no-one knows you drank it).
*french vineries use spanish grape (even cava for champagne) to produce their docg wine.
*US has more social costs due to obesity than due to smoking.
*last, but my favorite one - Vittorio Moretti Italian sparkling wine by Bella Vista (Franciacorta) won 2009 blind test over all the grand crue champagnes. see you soon - off to supermarket for my bottle:)
